Gabriela Díaz Musmanni

Gabriela Díaz Musmanni is a communications specialist and a writer. She studied English Literature at Queen’s University in Canada, and launched her career as a journalist at a small English-language newspaper in Costa Rica. After that she dedicated her entire career to supporting nonprofits and causes that she strongly believes in, including environmental protection, climate action, and human rights. She is from Costa Rica but lives in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, with Isla, her daughter, who is named after Isla del Coco, a remote and magical island territory of Costa Rica where she once lived. She tries to meditate daily, is addicted to yoga and sunshine, and went vegan shortly after joining Plant Based News and reading non-stop about its benefits for health and the planet.
