Halo Top is expanding its vegan range with new plant-based ice creams made from oats.
The low-calorie dessert brand has unveiled two new flavors: Peanut Butter Chocolate Overload – packed with dark chocolate chips and chewy brownie pieces – and Caramel Chocolate Pretzel which features caramel swirls, fudge-coated pretzels, and caramel ice cream.
Moreover, Halo’s new ice creams will debut in Tesco stores across the UK in mid-March.

Ryan Bouton is the CMO of Halo Top International. According to Food and Beverage, he said: “We’re always working to improve our recipes behind the scenes. When we tried our new oat milk formula for our plant-based tubs, we immediately knew we had created a creamier, more indulgent texture our fans would really love.
“We are so excited for our fans to taste the two new flavors and enjoy another dairy-free and vegan-friendly alternative to our traditional dairy tubs.”
Plant-based ice creams
Last year, Halo Top reformulated its vegan ice cream range, saying plant-based demand is ‘higher than ever’.
Senior Brand Manager at Halo Top Shilpa Gadhok said: “As a leader in the better-for-you category, Halo Top is always looking for new ways to innovate and bring forward quality products our consumers will love.
“Plant-based demand is higher than ever. We want to provide our fans with an offering they feel great about eating. So, they don’t have to choose between pursuing a plant-based lifestyle and enjoying dessert.”
