A zero waste vegan market will take place in London this weekend.
Zero Mkt will be held at Saint Thomas More Language College in Chelsea, on Saturday, April 13. Tickets are free and should be booked in advance.
It will feature around 50 stalls serving plant-based eats, eco treats and sustainable clothing lines. There will also be free workshops running throughout the day, including vegan artivism workshop from Kate Louise Powell among others.
Doing better for the planet
“Fast fashion, ocean plastic and animal agriculture are wreaking havoc on our planet. It’s time that we demand different and demand better, and at Zero Mkt we can do just that,” Co-founders, Abigail Penny and James Morgan, said in a statement sent to Plant Based News.
“Thanks to the incredible work of the independent businesses joining us, we can now access innovative products that can help us lead healthier, happier, more sustainable lives.
“Whether you’re omnivore, flexitarian, vegan, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome at our event – plant-based, low impact living is for everyone to enjoy. We only have one home, and by coming together, we can help conserve this planet for future generations.”
All profits will go to Animal Equality and surplus food will be donated to City Harvest London. You can find out more and book tickets here
