Today is World Food Day, the perfect time to join the plant-based revolution.

And leading farmed animal protection organization Animal Equality is here to help with its brand new Love Veg site.

One stop

Featuring vegan celebrities, inspiring blog posts, plant-based recipes, and tips on the best compassionate alternatives to meat, dairy, and eggs, Love Veg is a one-stop shop for people looking to incorporate more cruelty-free options into their meals.

It also discusses the health and environmental benefits of eating less animal products, provides helpful tips on eating out or on a low-budget, and includes delicious plant-based recipes that anyone would enjoy.

The site also encourages people to take the Love Veg pledge and sign up for four weeks of inspiring and supportive emails to help them discover just how amazing plant-based eating can be.

Vegan

Actor Evanna Lynch, who went vegetarian at just 11 years old and vegan in 2015, says: “When I went vegan I did it out of love for animals; I didn’t anticipate veganism loving me back by giving me better health, better friendships, and a sense of personal equilibrium I didn’t know was missing – but that’s exactly what it did.”

Dr. Toni Shephard, UK Director of Animal Equality, adds: “Plant-based food is great for our health, the environment and the hundreds of animals we each save every year by choosing to leave them off our plates.

“And that is something to celebrate on World Food Day, and every day!”
