Vegfund is offering grant funding for food sampling, film screenings, veg fests, health fairs, conferences, and learning events, to help vegans with their advocacy.

The company gives financial support to maximize the effectiveness of people’s outreach, as well as achieving their own vision: “A compassionate and healthy world where all people embrace a vegan way of life.”

500 outreach projects

In 2017, VegFund supported more than 500 outreach projects that spread the vegan message to millions of people, including 613,000 vegan starter kits, 199,000 vegan leaflets, and 180,000 vegan food samples.

VegFund provided funding for LOVE AND BANANAS, an award-winning documentary film about the plight of the Asian elephant, helping them cover the costs of venue rental, vegan food, and the film license.

‘A fantastic way to inspire and challenge people’

Erin Sorenson, the documentary’s Impact Producer, said: “Our partnership with VegFund is incredibly exciting as it allows us to bring our film into communities that we may have never reached.

“Partnering with local vegan organizations and restaurants is obviously a fantastic way to inspire and challenge people to think differently about their relationship to food and animals.”
