Last night a British newspaper broke the story that The Voice judge Will. I. Am is following a vegan diet.

In the article, the former Black Eyed Peas musician talked about how his new diet has helped him lose weight and drop his cholesterol levels.

Following the publication of the article, Will. I. Am took to Twitter to write about his vegan lifestyle.

He posted a tweet full of emojis of animals including a chicken, duck, turkey, and pig, as well as a big red X (signalling ‘no’?) and an image of an egg.

This has led people to speculate that he is vegan for ethical as well as health reasons, with one user saying: “Welcome to the crew dude you made the best decision you could make!”

He hashtagged the tweet #vgang – a term created by athlete Timothy Shieff referring to a group of vegans including Grime artist JME.

JME himself responded to the tweet, writing simple: “Rah!? Hahahah.”
