She has already won over a legion of vegans with her cruelty-free make-up line, and now Kat Von D is releasing a shoe collection.

The line will include 26 designs – all of which will be free from animal-derived materials.

Sneak peek

The star posted a video of one of the designs – a red platform twist on a Mary-Jane style design – on Instagram.

She wrote: “My new vegan shoe line is coming to life.

“The first round of prototypes just arrived to my house – here’s a tiny little sneak peek of one out of the 26 styles I’ll be launching with. To all my dear vegan and non-vegan friends, thank you for being so patient.

“I know how hard it is to find high-quality shoes with style that aren’t made from animal leather, fur, or use glues derived from horses and cows, and that you can afford.

“And don’t worry, they’re not all going to be sky-high platforms – I got every style and sizes covered (including a few unisex pieces).”

Delighted fans rushed to praise the upcoming line.

One user called byrneasheckk said: “Im so excited! I trust that they’ll be a quality made, cruelty-free, comfortable product to wear just like everything else that you’ve produced! I love that you only put your name on things that you would use!”

User deannalillith added: “Omg I’m so excited!! I was so bummed when your KVD Los Angeles brand disappeared but I knew you were brewing up something even better this time around. I CANNOT WAIT!”

Fans shouldn’t have too long to wait before they can buy the collection.

Von D added: “I’ve been working hard on getting these shoes perfect for you and hoping to launch the collection at the end of the year.
