Musician James Arthur – of X Factor fame – has encouraged his fans to follow Australian vegan activist Joey Carbstrong.

Arthur, who ditched meat a couple of years ago in a bid to improve his health, stopped eating all animal products around August last year. At the time, he revealed in an interview that he was ‘feeling really good’.

He added: ” “I feel energized. I feel my head is clearer.

“I’m not preaching the vegan life to anyone, but it’s working for me.”

Spreading the word

Since ditching animal products, the singer has become more vocal about the lifestyle.

He took to Instagram stories to talk about how much he is loving his lifestyle.

Arthur wrote: “Living that cruelty-free life in my new gaff surrounded by platinum disks. Learn about the life from Joey Carbstrong.”

He concluded: “Please check out Joey Carbstrong’s story today, and educate yourselves about a cruelty-free, vegan life.

“This man deserves so much respect for the work he is doing for animals every single day.

“Been vegan for almost one year now, and I can tell you everything Joey is saying is 1000 percent legit on all levels.”

Arthur also shared some of his favorite vegan treats on Instagram stories – including sauce from Follow Your Heart, and Violife ‘cheese’.
