US recording artist Ne-Yo has revealed his abs in a social media post – crediting veganism for his healthy physique.

The star ditched animal products last year, after watching plant-based documentary What The Health.

The singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor, whose full name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, said: “I have to give a lot of credit to What The Health… I ain’t eating none of that s*** no more.


His new Instagram story – which was shared by shows the star posing topless in the mirror.

He wrote: “Me telling myself that if I wanna keep this stomach I better not eat this bag of chips right now.

“Vegan life.”


His dilemma over the chips may not have been his first.

When Ne-Yo initially went plant-based, he was concerned that it would be tough. 

But he was committed, saying: “We’re gonna make it work! Because it means something. It means saving your life.”
