Moby, who went vegan around 30 years ago, is a passionate activist.

As part of his vegan activism, he owns Little Pine Restaurant – which donates profits to animal and health advocacy organizations – and which is where he met Aspey.

Writing about the encounter, Aspey said: “Chillin’ with Moby who’s been vegan for almost as long as I’ve been alive…His restaurant Little Pine donates 100 percent of profits to organizations like the Physicians Committee who do amazing work like getting vegan meals in hospitals and schools.

“His song, Memory Gospel, was used as the theme song for the documentary, Earthlings, which has been the catalyst for thousands of people learning the extreme violence inflicted upon animals for redundant food options like meat, dair,y and eggs.

“He donates massive sums of money to help further the cause and supports the animal rights movement in many ways – and, obviously, his music is awesome. A celebrity doing it right! Thanks for all you do brother.”
