Talk show host Stephen Colbert will be embarking on a plant-based diet for at least 17 days after losing a bet.

He announced the news on his program The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, during an interview with vegan actor Woody Harrelson.

Comedian Colbert asked Harrison: “How do I get my protein?” This prompted Harrelson to explain that people don’t need as much of the macronutrient as they think.
