Star Wars actor Daisy Ridley has revealed she is a ‘cheagan’, describing herself as a ‘cheating vegan’.

In a video interview for Elle UK TV, Ridley, who portrays Rey in the Star Wars franchise, said: “I sort of just become a cheagan, which is a cheating vegan – in that I cut out a lot of things.”

‘Moral compass’

“I’ve cut out meat and dairy, and eggs; but I sometimes eat fish, because my moral compass is off,” the 25-year old British actor said.

When asked about her favorite item in her wardrobe, Ridley mentioned a faux-fur blue jacket that ‘makes [her] look like Sully from Monsters Inc‘.

The Star Wars sequel trilogy star reportedly got in shape for The Force Awakens by eating ‘lots of fish, legumes, and spirulina shakes’.
