Dancer and content creator Donté Colley boasted the benefits of going plant-based with his more than 860,000 Instagram followers.
‘I have never felt this good in a very long time – both mentally and physically’, the Canadian TikTok star said. He adopted a plant-based diet three months ago.
In addition to his ‘entirely’ plant-based diet, Colley said he exercises ‘at least’ once a day and dances for more than two hours.
The 23-year-old, who has more than 300,000 TikTok followers, regularly posts dance videos and supportive messages about self-love.
He made the lifestyle change for his mind, body, wellness and ‘impact on the environment’.
In an Instagram post, he wrote: “It’s brought me to a place of clarity, has reshaped my mindset and how I look at a lot things…I love to share the things I make that hopefully can make others smile as well as myself.”
Donté Colley is among a swathe of prominent figures to share the benefits of plant-based diets on the social media platform.
TikTok is another platform that has seen spotlights shed on vegan lifestyles – from the likes of Tabitha Brown, who rose to fame since posted her carrot ‘bacon’ recipe to the now-banned animal rights advocate That Vegan Teacher.
