Entrepreneur Charles Michael Yim has praised The Game Changers for being ‘backed by science’ and not corporation bias.
The Shark Tank star says the film is pushing him towards a fully vegan diet. He currently describes himself as a ‘flexitarian’ – a diet high in plant-based meals but still includes small amounts of animal products.

‘I recommend everyone watch it’
“I’ve been a meat-eater all my life,” Yim tells Plant Based News’ co-founder Robbie Lockie on the latest episode of the PBN Podcast.
“I’m Asian-American and my mum kinda cooked Asian cuisine growing up as well as American and French and so forth…
“I recently [became] a newfound Father. My little boy Junior is roughly about 17 months old now. I just turned 37 in addition to that so, your body doesn’t work like it used to in your 20s right?
“Your metabolism slows down and it takes a little longer to recover; you have to try a little harder to stay in shape. So I think both life events combined encouraged me to look at my health from a different perspective.”
I actually watched the documentary on Netflix called The Game Changers. Yeah, I recommend everyone to watch it if they can.
“It’s a documentary on a plant-based diet but it’s backed by science produced by both Arnold Schwarzennerg and Jackie Chan not some big corporation or what have you that tries to lean in towards a certain bias.”
‘The Game Changers’
The Game Changers ‘documents the explosive rise of plant-based eating in professional sports’. It is directed by Oscar-winner Louie Psihoyos and executive produced by Oscar-winner James Cameron. Mixed martial artists James Wilks stars and produces.
The film has inspired many public figures to change their diet, such as Rocky IV star Dolph Lundgren and The Walking Dead‘s Khary Payton.
