Actor Madelaine Petsch, best known for her role as Cheryl Blossom on Riverdale, has shared a pro-vegan video to more than 20 million Instagram followers.
The star, who reportedly went vegan when she was 14-years-old, reposted an Earthling Ed video where the advocate defends plant-based milks being labeled as ‘milk’.
She captioned the post: “Take some time and watch this guy if you’re curious about veganism. [I’m a] big fan.”
‘I feel a lot healthier’
This isn’t the first time Petsch has spoken out about veganism. Back in 2017, the celeb featured in a campaign for PETA-2 where she wore a dress made from vegetables.
Speaking to the charity about transitioning from vegetarian to veganism, Petsch said: “I felt a lot healthier. I didn’t feel as lethargic because I wasn’t drinking milk or eating eggs.
“It’s just important to be conscious of what you’re doing. If you can be conscious of what you’re eating and conscious of what you’re doing in the world – I think that’s the first step.”
More recently, Petsch told People that being vegan keeps her ‘body fueled and running smoothly’ – and that she tends to stick to a ‘clean, non-processed food diet’.
