Celebrity singer-songwriter Rihanna is launching a new skincare brand featuring vegan products.

Fenty Skincare will drop its first three products, named ‘start’rs’, on July 31. The collection features a cleanser ($25), toner-serum ($28), and SPF 30 moisturizer ($35).

‘Earth-conscious’

“Here are the FENTY SKIN START’RS that help brighten skin, snatch pores, and target dark spots…” the brand said on Instagram, “They’re all clinically tested, clean, vegan, oil-free, non-comedogenic, AND earth-conscious!”

Rihanna added: “I’ve been working on Fenty Skin for [more than] two years, perfecting formulas and creating packaging that is kind to our planet!

“Formulas that work, and work well with makeup! Everything starts with the foundation that is your skin and we all know how obsessed I am with beautiful, healthy skin- so whether you want to wear makeup or no makeup at all, there’s always glowing skin underneath.”

Vegan leather collection

Earlier this year, Rihanna was honored with a fashion award for her vegan leather clothing line.

The pop star and make-up entrepreneur launched the new capsule collection under her fashion line Fenty back in April. It features a range of items including an oversized shirt, hoodie, and corset skirt, and was described as ‘ultra-chic’, by Vogue.

Vegan charity PETA awarded Rihanna with a Compassion in Fashion Award in recognition of the range’s animal-free credentials.
