American interior designer Bobby Berk, most known for his role as one of the Fab Five on Netflix’s Queer Eye, says he and his husband Dewey Do try to ‘eat vegan as much as possible’.

The star made the comments in a recent ‘quarantine diary’ for USA Today, where he details how he’s been spending his time during self-isolation.

‘Very good’

“My husband and I have been doing a lot of experimental cooking. We’re not vegans, but we try to eat vegan as much as possible,” he said.

“He made this really cool vegan ‘egg breakfast’. It looks just like a fried egg, but he used a squash to make the yolk. And it looks like there’s salmon avocado toast on the side but it’s actually sliced up carrots that he soaked in dill. Very good.”

‘Eat less meat’

On Instagram, Berk also praised veganism for its sustainability to his 2.6 million followers, writing: “Vegan Tacos made from Jackfruit!? Sound peculiar, well it’s not… and it’s delicious!

“Dewey and I have been trying to eat less meat as it can be great for your body, and definitely helps reduce your environmental impact.”
