F1 giant Nico Rosberg could be the next big name investing in plant-based innovation.
The 2016 Formula One World Champion, who retired just five days after winning the title for the first time, recently revealed that he attended an investment meeting.
Rosberg captured the meeting on a video which he shared with his 577,000 YouTube subscribers.

The meeting was hosted by Roger Lienhard, Founder at Blue Horizon Group, which invests in companies disrupting the global food system. Innovative plant-based products including the Beyond Burger, JUST Egg, and New Roots cheese were served.
After the meeting, Rosberg said: “That really was an amazing experience. Usually investment meetings like that are really quite boring, but I love to do this kind of impact investing, it’s what I’ve been focusing on all the time.
“Here the opportunity for impact is just massive…it’s super fascinating…and the meat just tastes so damn good.”
