Yet another celebrity has adopted a vegan diet – this time it’s British singer-songwriter James Arthur.

The former X Factor star has ditched animal products, and joined the many other celebs who became vegan after watching documentary What The Health – including Ne-Yo.

Losing weight

Arthur told the Mail he ‘was miserable being overweight and has a new lease of life – and is now almost half the man he used to be’.

He added: “I’ve been vegetarian for a little while. But then I watched the Netflix documentary What The Health and now I’m vegan.

“I’m a singer and dairy stuff isn’t good for you. I’ve also got a Fitbit health tracker. I was carrying loads of weight and it was terrible being fat.”

V Festival demands

Headlining UK V Festival last weekend, the British singer asked for vegetarian Percy Pig sweets, and steamed broccoli at the Chelmsford site.

Demands also included a Dyson fan, Egyptian cotton towels in eggshell, and a UFC PlayStation game.

Plant Based News has contacted James Arthur for more information and will update.
