Plant-based startup Vevolution has announced the launch of She Loves Plants a new empowerment and self-love community for plant-powered women.
The community is the brainchild of Vevolution co-founder Judy Nadel, who wants to ‘celebrate’ women in the vegan movement.
‘Supporting women’
“When I started going to vegan themed events I was totally shocked by the lack of women represented on stage,” said Judy Nadel.
“Over the years with Vevolution we have met so many inspirational women but so often they lack confidence. This community is about changing that. It’s about celebrating women and building a tribe of badass world changers who believe in themselves and support each other.”
The first She Loves Plants event will take place on March 10, co-coinciding with a global week of celebrations surrounding International Women’s Day, and will bring together inspirational women for an afternoon of talks, panels and conversations.
Early announced speakers and panelists include: Zanna Van Dijk, Venetia Falconer, Roxanne Emery, Claudia Ayuso and Roxy Pope of So Vegan, Em-J Williams + many more.
