Nine-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul has announced he’s feeling ‘pretty damn good’ since adopting a plant-based diet.

The American basketball player took to Instagram to show his 9.2 million followers photos of his ‘body transformation’ from the ESPN 2019 Body Issue.

‘Stay disciplined’

“Man listen! It seems counterintuitive to think you would start feeling better in your body as you get older, but that’s EXACTLY the path I’m on!” Chris said.

“34, recently turned plant-based, and feeling pretty damn good! Stay disciplined and take care of yourselves, it all starts here! #ESPNBody.”

The Gamer Changers

Chris is also an Executive Producer for the upcoming vegan documentary The Game Changers.

“When we started working on The Game Changers, the benefits of leading a plant-based lifestyle became so clear to me,” the star said.

“I eventually decided to fully commit to it, and I genuinely hope that bringing this movie to theatres will encourage more people to do the same and cut down their daily meat consumption. Congratulations to everyone involved in this project, changing the game is not an easy task but it’s so rewarding!”

The film ‘documents the explosive rise of plant-based eating in professional sports, mixing real-time, groundbreaking science with cinematic stories of struggle and triumph’.

A new edit of the documentary, which features exclusive pre-show content and never-before-seen bonus footage, will be screened in more than 1,000 theaters across the world on September 16.
