Maggie Baird – mother of pop sensation Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell is to feature on a new plant-based cooking show titled New Day New Chef.

The show, which is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, centers around Baird’s organization Support + Feed, an initiative set up to help those ‘greatly impacted’ by the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

‘A very special season’

“I’m excited to welcome to you a very special season of the New Day New Chef,” Baird said in an Instagram video.

“Over the next eight episodes, you’ll learn all about our organization Support + Feed and get to meet talented chefs [behind the] finest plant-based restaurants.

“Plus, get tips on how they make their delicious dishes. So stay tuned for some great food, top chefs, and you never know who might just drop in to say ‘hi’.”

Support + Feed

Support + Feed aims to support LA’s plant-based restaurants who have been ‘forced to close their doors and are suffering as a result of the current pandemic’ by encouraging people to gift order food for those in need.

Vetted organizations and groups who have been ‘greatly impacted’ by the crisis, including first responders, hospitals, senior centers, food shelters, and women’s shelters will then receive the donations – delivered by environmental brand Conscious Cleanup.
