Vegans eat plant meat

In the video, she says: “I’m sick of people saying vegans don’t eat meat, b*tch – watch me eat this jackfruit meat.”

She then shows her followers how to prep the jackfruit meat – boiling the flesh, and seasoning it with a range of spices, oil and vinegar.

Once prepped, she bags the jackfruit, saying she can use it for a range of dishes, adding: “Look at that. It’s meat!”

Lizzo and veganism

Lizzo revealed earlier this year that she finds veganism ‘pretty easy’, in a TikTok video.

“So being plant-based and vegan has been pretty easy, except for when I am hungover. I used to crave cheesy eggs,” Lizzo told her 8.7 million TikTok followers.

The star has since shared a number of recipes and tips with her followers, saying: “I feel like us fat queens need to represent.”
