Last week, Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton shocked the world when he announced he was going to try veganism – a story broken by Plant Based News.

Now according to the sportsman, he has already made the shift to a plant-based diet, and he is loving it so far.

A Snapchat posted by the star yesterday said: “Guys I went plant-based diet last Wednesday [sic].

“It’s Monday and after a race, normally don’t feel amazing, I do today! Already feeling the benefits!”

What the Health

Like other celebs before him, the star seems to have been inspired by vegan film What the Health.

The star made his original vegan announcement on Snapchat last week, writing: “Going to watch What the Health Tonight.

“I’m on a mission to go vegan, people. Animal cruelty, global warming and our personal health is at stake.”
