Reality TV giant Kim Kardashian has said her ‘eco-resolution’ is to ‘eat everything plant-based’.

The celebrity, who became widely known through reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, recently revealed she is now totally meat-free and that her diet is ‘mostly’ plant- based during a Twitter Q&A.

She also said her children – North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago – eat mostly plant-based too, adding that ‘North is a pescatarian though’.

Kim also talks about eating plant-based in a recent video for Eco Resolution – an environmental campaign to tackle the climate crisis, co-created by Cara Delevigne.

‘The greatest threat’

“The climate and ecological crisis is the greatest threat we’ve ever faced, and the future of life on our planet is at stake,” Delevigne said.

“Yet this crisis is the symptom of broken systems. We need to reinvent so much of how we live in the 21st century. This can feel hugely overwhelming – it’s easy to feel powerless, and too small to make a difference.

“Yet if we can step up, rather than shut down, there is an exciting invitation before us. To ignite individual initiative – to lead true change, not just buying better reusable coffee cups.”

Celebrities

Eco Resolution, which has blasted animal agriculture for its environmental impact, features a slew of celebrities including Rita Ora and Jaden Smith, all pledging to help fight the climate crisis.

Celebrity actor Jack Black, who recently said vegan is best for the planet and ‘straight up delish’ is also part of the campaign – and says his eco resolution is to ‘stop eating red meat’.
