Musician Jessie J spread a vegan message to millions this weekend while performing on The Latesish Show.

The show, hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan, debuted its first episode on Friday. Other guests included boxer Tyson Fury, and actors Steve Coogan and Asim Chaudhry.

During the episode, Jessie J was asked to sing Old MacDonald in the style of Whitney Houston.

Vegan message

Jessie J began singing the song, about a farmer who had a farm, and the animals he had.

She ended the song singing: “But Old MacDonald, he was a vegan.”

The singer first spoke publicly about veganism in a world exclusive interview with Plant Based News‘ Co-founder Robbie Lockie earlier this month.

“I don’t know anything, I go into everything I do saying ‘I do not know anything, I want to learn’…It’s about knowledge and power and gaining understanding from the person that focuses on the food element of veganism, or animal cruelty, or global warming,” she said.

“I’m at the beginning of this journey and I’m not speaking out on it because I’m doing everything I can, or doing everything right.

“It’s about me trying to inspire a younger generation to love themselves, love their bodies, and love the world.”
