Californian concert venue Hollywood Bowl has announced it will go completely meatless for the first time ever for Morrissey’s upcoming gig this week.

The 58-year old former lead singer of The Smiths will be performing at the infamous venue on November 10 – and all food vendors will be serving up vegetarian-only food.

Meatless

An outspoken vegan and longtime animal rights activist renowned for his The Smiths’ Meat Is Murder album, Morrissey (full name Steven Patrick Morrissey) is notorious for demanding that concert venues refrain from serving meat during his shows.

Although not offering fully vegan fare, since some dishes will contain cheese and other animal products, traders will be selling falafel burgers and potato tacos.
