Actor Charlie Sheen has reportedly embraced a plant-based diet in a bid to improve his health.

The former Two And A Half Men star, who was diagnosed as HIV positive in 2015, is said to be supplementing his healthier diet with exercise, hitting the pool and yoga studio as part of his health kick.

According to the actor, he hasn’t touched hard drugs for a year, and rarely consumes alcohol.

Inspired

The move was allegedly inspired by his girlfriend Julia Stambler, who used to be the nanny for his eight year old twins Max and Bob.

Sheen clearly has inner drive to improve his life, having earlier said: “I’ve started to feel back to myself again and back in touch with all aspects of my life.

“When I was first diagnosed, I knew it wasn’t a death sentence but it was just a giant frickin’ bummer.

“I accept the gift of being alive. I could run and hide from this whole thing and not be outspoken and honest and open about it, but I’ve chosen a path that’s the opposite.”
