Disney Star Mena Massoud To Launch Vegan Cookbook

Celebrity actor Mena Massoud, well knows for his role in Disney’s 2019 remake of Aladdin, is to release a vegan cookbook later this year.

Titled Evolving Vegan, the cookbook features ‘deliciously diverse recipes from North America’s best plant-based eateries’ and is ‘for anyone who loves food’.

‘What a ride!’

The star, who recently invested in the Series A Raise Capital raise for the Plant Power Restaurant Group – the parent company of Plant Power Fast Food, revealed the news on Instagram to his 2.4 million followers.

“Man, what a ride! Ten cities, fifty restaurants, hundreds of hours and over a year of hard work to write my first book! In bookstores everywhere September 15,” he wrote.

‘Accessible and fun’

Evolving vegan, a company founded by Massoud that is dedicated to ‘highlighting vegan recipes and eateries around the world’, also wrote about the book.

“It’s here! #EvolvingVegan the BOOK is now available for pre-order! Learn how living plant-based is accessible and fun without the judgment, written by our Founder Mena Massoud.”
