Deliciously Ella will be expanding her product portfolio with a new range of frozen vegan ready meals, according to leading food outlet The Grocer.
Ella Mills – who has written multiple bestselling books – said she has been developing the line, which is based on her existing recipes, for around a year and a half.
The meals will include Sweet Potato & Black Bean Shepherd’s Pie, Five Bean Chilli, Thai Yellow Curry, Cauliflower & Lentil Dahl and Spiced Spinach & Potato Cakes.
Easy vegan
In addition to being plant-based, the meals will be packaged in recyclable paper and plastic.
The new products, which is launch later this month, will retail for between £3.99 and £4.99 and will be available from online retailer Ocado as well as Whole Foods Market.
Mills told The Grocer: “We wanted to create a line of food that made it easier for people,” adding that freezing food is ‘nature’s way’ of preserving it.
