Actor, Producer and Writer Cody Kearsley, most known for his role Moose Mason in Riverdale, has promoted veganism to more than 100,000 Instagram followers.

The star, who described himself as ‘vegan and an animal-rights advocate’ in a recent interview with Prune Mag, regularly uses his platform to shed light on animal injustice.

‘Time to evolve’

“We all deserve love. Just because someone doesn’t speak the same language, have the same skin or understand the world in the same way we do… it doesn’t mean they don’t feel fear, pain or loneliness,” he wrote, alongside an image of a piglet.

“It’s time to evolve as the human race and truly be the protectors of this planet… not the destroyers.”

‘The real price of bacon’

Kearsley also reposted a viral video revealing the ‘real price of bacon’ from Natura Umana – the first Romanian documentary about animal exploitation and the impact it has on the planet.

Several images and videos showing the star’s impressive physique also feature the hashtags ‘Vegan’ and ‘Plant-Based’.
