Celebrity actor and animal-rights advocate Pamela Anderson has partnered with vegan meat brand The Very Good Butchers (VGF) to boost awareness of plant-based diets.

The charity collaboration will see VGF donate a portion of its October sales to the Pamela Anderson Foundation to ‘support organizations and individuals that stand on the front lines in the protection of human, animal and environmental rights’.

Throughout October, customers will also receive a 10 percent discount off their VGF order using the code ‘Pamela’: 25 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Foundation.

‘A powerful change-agent’

In a statement sent to Plant Based News, Anderson said: “It is a thrill to have my Foundation associated with a butcher: a 21st-century butcher who uses technology to create plant foods that help animals, human health, and our planet.”

CEO of The Very Good Butcher Mitchell Scott said he was also ‘really excited’ with the partnership, adding: “With such a massive platform, including over one million followers on Instagram, Pamela is a powerful change-agent, and we’re honored to have the Very Good Butchers brand be featured as part of her campaign.”
