The reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian has promoted a plant-based diet on her Instagram stories to 198 million followers.

Kardashian shared an image of a delivery from the plant-based meat-alternative giant, Beyond Meat, with the caption: ‘Someone heard I went plant-based’.

Kardashian ‘sister boot camp’

She also teased an intense exercise regime for the New Year.

On another Instagram stories post, the 40-year-old told her followers that ‘sister boot camp’ starts this month, consisting of two workouts a day.

The routine will run alongside a plant-based diet, she claimed in the post, adding: ’30 days to get our mind and body right this year!’

She also posted a photo of a snack and wrote: ‘I hope these are plant-based’.

Meat-free

This is not the first time the fashion mogul has hinted at a plant-based lifestyle on social media.

At the start of last year, she revealed she had ditched meat and was enjoying a ‘mostly’ plant-based diet.

‘Child cruelty’

Breaking the news on her Twitter, she confirmed her children – North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago were mostly plant-based as well.

This was something she was criticized for – with some social media users branding her kids’ diets ‘child cruelty’.

Kardashian has praised both Beyond Meat and KFC in the past on their partnered launch of vegan fried chicken.
