Billie Eilish, Finneas O’Connell, and mother Maggie Baird delivered vegan food to a women’s center and hospital in Los Angeles to celebrate Mother’s Day.

The family was joined by core team members of Support+Feed – an initiative spearheaded by Baird to help those ‘greatly impacted’ by the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

Together, the team delivered burritos from plant-based eatery Cena Vegan, donuts from Donut Friend, and flowers from DB Creativity.

‘Honor mothers and nurses’

On Instagram, Baird said: “We had an incredible mother’s day today. The whole family and some of our core Support + Feed team [made] deliveries today to honor mothers and nurses for nurse appreciation week!”

“First to the downtown women’s center and then to the staff at MLK hospital. Thank you to everyone donating to Support + Feed who makes this possible! You made a difference today!”

Support + Feed

Support + Feed aims to support LA’s plant-based restaurants who have been ‘forced to close their doors and are suffering as a result of the current pandemic’ by encouraging people to gift order food for those in need.

Vetted organizations and groups who have been ‘greatly impacted’ by the crisis, including first responders, hospitals, senior centers, food shelters, and women’s shelters will then receive the donations – delivered by environmental brand Conscious Cleanup.
