Celebrity singer and songwriter Billie Eilish is offering her fans free tickets to her sold-out world tour for taking environmental action.
The 17-year-old star, who regularly speaks out about the climate crisis, has collaborated with Global Citizen, an organization who aims to ‘learn about and take action on the world’s biggest challenges’.
‘A more sustainable world’
“I teamed up with a great organization called Global Citizens to help come up with a way to earn tickets for the Where Do We Go? tour,” Eilish said in a video.
“And if you go to globalcitizen.org/billie you can learn more about environmental issues like plastic pollution and global warming and climate change and we can tackle these challenges and create a more sustainable world. So, love you.”
‘As green as possible’
The star recently announced on the Tonight Show she plans to make her Where Do We Go? tour ‘as green as possible‘.
“There are no plastic straws allowed, the fans are going to bring their own water bottles, there’s going to be recycle cans everywhere, because it’s like, if something’s recyclable, it doesn’t matter unless there’s a recycle bin,” Elish told host Jimmy Fallon.
