Beyoncé and Jay-Z are giving away lifetime tickets to either of their concerts to a fan that makes the pledge to go vegan.

In Marco Borges’ book The Greenprint: Plant-Based Diet, Best Body, better World, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z share their views on their health and the environment.

‘Let’s take this stand together’

The couple said: “We all have a responsibility to stand up for our health and the health of the planet.

“Let’s take this stand together. Let’s spread the truth. Let’s make this mission a movement.”

The Carter’s latest project, The Greenprint, has a 22-day meal plan, a shop stocked with protein bars and powders, and the opportunity to submit your pledge to go vegan, or reduce your meat intake.

‘It starts with one meal’

Their website reads: “By eating just a few plant-based meals we can improve our environmental impact.

“It starts with one meal, but can expand to a lifetime of positive global impact.”

Beyoncé announced she was following a plant-based diet last year, in the run-up to her performance at Coachella.

She wrote on Instagram: “44 days until Coachella!! Vegan Time!!”
