Babe actor James Cromwell has recorded a pro-vegan radio advert to encourage people to ditch animal products this Easter.

Keen activist Cromwell worked with animal rights charity PETA to produce the 30 second recording (which you can hear here).

Cromwell teamed up with PETA earlier this year to make this TV advert

In the radio ad, Cromwell says: “When I made the movie Babe, I learned how smart and sensitive pigs are.

“Did you know pigs can play video games, operate thermostats, and even fetch a ball just like a dog?

“I developed a lot of respect for them, and stopped eating them. Won’t you join me in bagging the bacon and giving ham the old heave-ho this Easter?

“You can find tasty, vegan, pig-free holiday recipes at peta.org.” holiday. “
