Celebrity Actress Compares Own Pregnancy With Dairy Cows’ In Heartbreaking Video

1 Minutes Read

Celebrity actress Danniella Monet, best known for her role in Victorious, compares her pregnancy and future motherhood with dairy cows‘ in a heartbreaking video.

Titled ‘The HARDEST PART about my pregnancy’, Monet watches videos of dairy farms exposés – including the ‘horrific abuse’ that was recently uncovered at Fair Oaks Farm.

‘Fight harder’

“I don’t think its fair for me to just have this pregnancy and feel the way that I feel about my experience. I almost want to be transported in their world so that I can fight harder for them,” she says.

Watching the footage, the star, who regularly promotes veganism on Instagram to her 3.2 million followers, asks: “How can anyone allow for this to happen?”

‘Glory and praise’

Monet continues: “I don’t know how many people out there really understand what is going on and how polarizing a mother cow’s experience through pregnancy is compared to human beings. And to be pregnant and to be in my body, and feeling the way I feel, and to be getting so much glory and praise, you know? There’s just an excitement about it that a mother cow will never feel and understand within these terms of the dairy industry.

“When I think of a mother cow and her baby I think of the relationship they don’t have, and I think about the nine months they spend trying to connect to this baby that they’re growing and nourishing… to have it just taken away from them.”
