A group of
activists lobbied Charles, Prince of Wales, to ‘go vegan’ on his recent trip to
Greece with partner Camilla.

‘Go vegan’

While the
primary cause for the royal trip appeared to be their visit to the Commonwealth
War Graves in Athens, the pair had an unexpected run in with a group of
activists.

Smiling
advocates waved from a balcony in royal view, holding a banner that read: “CHARLES,
GO VEGAN! COMPASSION LOOKS GREAT ON YOU!”

Their
demonstration also included a chant, in which they said: “Please, Charles,
please go vegan.”

Royal efforts

During the
trip, when sharing coffee with locals, Charles reportedly refused a straw as
part of his effort to reduce plastic use.

Charles is
not the only royal showing signs of an environmental conscience, however, as
Prince Harry and fiancé Meghan Markle are reportedly both leaning toward a
vegan diet.
