Renowned plant-based personalities – including physician Dr. Greger – will speak at what is believed to be the ‘world’s first ocean cruise for vegans’.
Cruise and Maritime Voyages [CMV] has announced that this special cruise, which is taking place this month, will be 100 per cent vegan.
The seven-night voyage on the Columbus ship – advertised at those ‘interested in a vegan diet and lifestyle’ – is being run in association with Vegan Travel.

The menu onboard is fully vegan, and will also cater for those eating raw food, gluten-free, or macrobiotic diets.
“This is the perfect opportunity to travel with like-minded people and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Norwegian Fjords,” said CMV.
Four guest speakers will give talks on health and veganism, and there is also a wellness program going on that includes yoga and pilates.
The guest line up features Melanie Joy, Dr. Michael Greger, Julieanna Hever, and Wendy Turner Webster.
Other activities on board include vegan toothpaste making and vegan cheese making.
The vegan sailing will be departing to the Norwegian Fjords from London Tilbury on September 25.
