A host of leading doctors including Dr. Michael Greger and Dr. Neal Barnard review documentary The Game Changers in this exclusive Plant Based News video.

The film, which ‘documents the explosive rise of plant-based eating in professional sports’, is directed by Oscar-winner Louie Psihoyos and executive produced by Oscar-winner James Cameron. Mixed martial artists James Wilks stars and produces.

It has made a huge impact since its launch earlier last year – inspiring numerous people to try a plant-based diet, boosting Google searches for related terms, and increasing business for vegan food businesses.

‘A fantastic movie’

Dr. Neal Barnard – who starred in an early cut of the movie – revealed his footage was cut when the crew wanted to reshoot on better technology and reshot everything in a recent interview with London Reel.

Speaking to Plant Based News he said: “The Game Changers really, in an inspiring way, reaches a whole new audience. And these are people who didn’t want to just lose weight, or lower their cholesterol.

“These are people who wanted to perform in sports at the highest possible level. And they brought it home, I have to say. It’s a fantastic movie.”

FREE online health conference

Dr. Barnard will be speaking at free online health conference later this month, alongside a Dr. Greger and other top medics from this video.

The Annual Food Revolution Summit, which runs from April 25 – May 3, brings together a host of top health experts who will discuss diet and health issues.

According to the founders, attendees will ‘get the most up-to-date research and information about food, nutrition, disease prevention, immune health, and environmental stewardship’.
