Popular high street eatery Wagamama is to launch a new vegetarian and vegan menu, according to a report by Veggie Athletic.

The menu is currently being trialled in a number of branches – and may be extended nationwide in the future.

A number of Instagram Stories by blogger Yes, It’s All Vegan showed off the vegan options in all their glory.

Veggie Athletic says: “New items will include kare burosu ramen (breaded tofu, grilled mushrooms, curry broth) and the yasai samla curry (creamy lemon grass, coconut sauce and fried tofu).”

“There’s no news on when it will be released to the masses, however with the amount of time and effort they’ve put into the menu so far, it shouldn’t be too much longer.”

Also, the influential vegan food channel BOSH! covered the menu launch on their Instagram channel with delicious-looking food prepared by Wagamama’s executive chef Steve Mangleshot. Steve has been in Wagamama for 17 years and is taking the new vegan menu very seriously, with a host of new vegan options also in development.

PBN has contacted Wagamama and will update this story.
