Wagamama has been working hard to woo vegans with its recent vegan menu launch.

The high street favorite now offers dinners a separate vegan/veggie menu, stuffed with treats like gyoza, kare burosu, and yasai itame.

Now the chain is trialing a new dish that has got many vegans excited.

Seitan

Plant-based eaters are being encouraged to go to The Noodle Lab in Soho, where Wagamama is trialing new potential menu options.

Should the dish be popular – it could be rolled out nationwide.

The option is a vegan katsu curry, made with seitan. It showcases a juicy seitan cutlet resting on rice, and smothered in tasty sauce, has received positive reviews online.
