A US pizza chain has added vegan cheese to all 10 of its Arizona and New Mexico Branches.

WisePies Pizza worked with the campaigns team at animal rights organization Vegan Outreach to find a good alternative for those looking to eschew dairy.

The chain, which currently has locations in New Mexico and Arizona, will be expanding to Nevada, Louisiana, and Texas in the next year – and will also be serving Violife in those outlets.

Feedback

Season Elliott, WisePies Pizza & Salad VP of Marketing, said: “Our guests asked for a vegan and dairy-free alternative, and based on their feedback, it is now available in all of our locations.

“The Violife brand of dairy-free cheese won overwhelmingly in our blind taste test with close to 70 per cent of guests selecting it. We’re excited to add yet another healthy alternative to our menu.”

Vegans can enjoy a plant-based pizza at WisePies by ordering the traditional or wheat crust with roasted red bell pepper marinara sauce, and topping it with a variety of delicious vegetable and herb toppings – and of course, a good handful of Violife.
