Vegan Prince Khaled To Appear At The Future Of Food Event

Vegan and philanthropist Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal is set to appear at an upcoming plant-based event, The Future Of Food: Tech’s Menu For Sustainability.

‘Sustainable future’

The event will be an official affiliate of 2018’s Global Climate Change Summit and be presented by WeWork – the newly meat-free coworking giant – and sf.citi.

According to the event’s webpage, it aims to ‘bring together leaders from the private and public sector to discuss how tech can be a leader in building a more sustainable future through food innovation’.

Details

In addition to Khaled, the event will feature a number of other leaders in sustainability and innovation – creating a panel which Khaled says he’s ‘honored’ to be a part of.

Included will be Josh Tetrick, CEO of JUST, Lindsay Baker, WeWork’s VP of Sustainability and Wellbeing, and California Senator, Nancy Skinner.

Food from a number of the world’s leading plant-based companies will be served at the September event, and tickets can now be purchased online.
