Philadelphia-based fashion brand Free People has collaborated with animal rights charity PETA to create a summer fashion lookbook.

The lookbook stars Playboy model Bryana Holly, model Michelle Weinhofen, and actor and America’s Next Top Model winner Sal Stowers.

The designs include vegan leather strappy sandals and jackets to rayon slips and straw boater hats, in what PETA describes as ‘Free People’s signature boho style’.

‘Kind and sustainable’

Abby Morgan, Free People’s director of brand marketing, said: “Free People is excited to work with PETA to continue highlighting kind and sustainable ways to get dressed.

“We dedicate an entire section of our online store to animal-friendly fashion as demand for vegan options continues to rise.”

In 2016, PETA gave Free People a Compassionate Business Award for its commitment to animal-friendly fashion and beauty products. The company is one of an increasing number of retailers – including ASOS, Topshop, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, and many others – to offer cruelty-free designs.
