Vegan Pea and Ham Soup is now available at Co-op stores across the UK, according to Vegan Food UK.

Vegan Food UK is an online organization operating across multiple social media platforms, with a Facebook group, Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Instagram account.

It revealed the news on its Instagram page, saying: “Wow! Co-op now sells a Vegan Pea & Ham Soup. Well, this is a first, but you know, it sounds bloody brilliant. Once again proving how easy it is to be vegan.”

The soup is made by Suma, the UK’s biggest worker’s co-operative and supplier of vegetarian foods, which describes the product as: “An old school thick and wholesome pea soup with vegan ham pieces.”

Andi Butterworth, who developed the soup as part of a line of products, told Vegan Food & Living: “Sometimes you want to cook and create.

“Sometimes you just need something tasty and fast, and that’s what we’re offering to the growing number of people who want to enjoy classic favorites but without the meat.”
