Vegan takeaway orders from Uber Eats skyrocketed by 23 percent this month, according to new data.

The online food ordering and delivery platform says the UK’s top 5 favorite vegan food options include Falafel Wraps; Vegan Sushi Rolls – Avocado Maki; Vegan Truffle Mac ‘n’ Cheese; Vegan Burgers; and Vegan Veggie Pizza.

Uber Eats believes the increase ties in with Veganuary – which has seen around 250,000 people pledge to ditch animal products for a month this year.

“With an increasing number of Brits having committed to Veganuary this year, it is clear that the appetite for delicious vegan meals is on the rise,” Head of Marketing for Uber Eats UK & Ireland, Henry Harding, said.

“So whether you crave dairy and meat but love to dabble in vegan food, or are a fully committed vegan, we have a fantastic array of wonderful dishes to cater to all preferences.”
