According to Co-founder Yuki Thomas, the company wanted to fill a gap in the market, with its animal-free meals.
She says: “We don’t want to offer the normal, we want to offer the best quality plant-based meals you can find.”
Meals feature wild mushroom penne, yellow lentil dahl with rice, turmeric and farro soup, and mac and ‘cheese’ with shiitake ‘bacon’.
Prices start from $9 per meal, alongside special eating plans, which include 12 meals per week.
