Vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand Lime Crime will donate 100 per cent of the sales from a lipstick to victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The indie brand’s lipstick – in the Beet It Matte Velvetine shade – will have its profits made until September 12 donated to the American Red Cross.

“Stay strong, Houston!,” announced the company when breaking the news that the shade will benefit Harvey victims.

The lipstick

‘Beet It’ is a deep berry-pink shade that was inspired by Lime Crime CEO Doe Deere’s favorite flower, the rose.

As part of the Velvetine collection, the lipstick is a pigmented blend that goes on like a liquid and ‘dries down to a luxurious, velvety matte finish that lasts for hours and hours’.

The matte liquid lipstick is also infused with French vanilla flavor.

Lime Crime will be offering free worldwide shipping on orders over $20.
